![]() ![]() I have opened a ticket with our MSP to see if conditions can be added to the External Email Warning Message rule. And, we will not remove the prepended warning message (that the email came from outside the organization) because we want our users to beware. ![]() This is frustrating for users because there is no way to create an email chain when there is back-and-forth on a topic with the vendor. So, rather than break the digital certification, the original message is changed to an attachment and the prepended warning message is the only thing displayed in the message our use receives in their inbox. However, if the warning message is prepended to the message as is, it will break the digital certification (the message is altered). Our M365 Exchange executes the rule to prepend our warning message to the vendor email. Our M365 Exchange receives the message and sees that it's from outside the organization. The vendor email server uses the rep's digital certificate to sign the message before sending the message to us.Our vendor rep creates an email message to us and presses send. ![]() After doing a search to see what would be causing the problem (and the answer was in this thread), I have asked our MSP if it's possible to modify a rule on our M365 Exchange instance. ![]()
